The Thanksgiving to New Years stretch can be a full of events and emotions. Come learn how to slow down and take notice of the small things while the world rushes on around you. This workshop is intended to be an introduction to mindfulness, with opportunities to practice grounding and mindfulness skills, challenge unhelpful thinking styles, and set goals for the upcoming holiday season. Come learn what mindfulness is, how to decrease judgment of self and others, and start a practice of being in the present moment, whatever that moment holds.
